Describe the culture at eRAD.
It’s fast!—very busy. As the RIS/PACS Project Manager, my role is to implement the products for our customers, so things are very dynamic and changing all the time, which I like.
Talk about what it's like like to interact so closely with customers.
Sometimes it’s on the phone—say, troubleshooting an issue—and sometimes it’s in person, such as during a go-live. Most of what customers require is inherent in the product, so it’s a matter of helping them see how flexible the product is. When there are new ideas from the customer side, we have a set procedure for communicating that, and often those ideas make their way into a later release.
What's your favorite part of your job?
Definitely my colleagues on the Professional Services team. It makes all the difference to work with people who are so willing to help each other. In order for us to be responsive to customers, we have to be pretty versatile and smart. We’re a great team!
