Greenville, South Carolina – January 20, 2012 eRAD, an industry leader in workflow solutions through its native Web-based RIS, PACS and Teleradiology software platform announced today the successful installation of its software at Cancer Radiation and Specialty Clinics of El Paso, Texas.

Cancer Radiation and Specialty Clinics based in El Paso, TX, provides Oncology, Imaging and Radiation services in the El Paso area. Management of their imaging workflow is handled through a ‘Cloud-Based’ service provided by eRAD.

Sergio Garcia, Radiology Department Manager at Cancer Radiation and Specialty Clinics commented, “We looked to eRAD to provide a complete solution that includes the management and archiving of studies. Top on our list was integration to our patient EMR and the ability to create and distribute reports directly from a PACS. eRAD also hosts the complete solution so we have less IT overhead and headaches.” Garcia continued, “Although the eRAD system is cloud based, our installation has the added benefit a local server which allows us to keep reading and reporting in the event of a network outage. This is extremely important given our commitment to patient care. We always have the studies and reports we need locally if required.”
