Greenville, South Carolina – October 10, 2012 eRAD, a division of RadNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: RDNT), announced today that Alaska Imaging Associates of Anchorage, Alaska, has selected the eRAD PACS solution to enable a consolidated imaging workflow for the various sites which AIA supports with its reading services.

Alaska Imaging Associates (AIA) is comprised of skilled, highly trained physicians specialized in the practice of radiology. Their practice is contracted with several facilities in Alaska to provide interpretations of diagnostic imaging studies and to perform image-guided procedures. The radiologists of AIA also created the PET/CT Center of Alaska as part of their commitment to Alaska patients. AIA chose eRAD for its ability to scale with the growth of the practice and its strength in managing studies from multiple sites. A consolidated Worklist, single transcription toolset and integrated report delivery allow one solution to solve many needs.

Dr. Lester Lewis, the Vice President of AIA, said: “We were looking for a solution that would allow for a single view across all of our imaging sites. eRAD provides that along with easy access for our referring physicians. The integrated speech recognition and report delivery means our turnaround times are significantly reduced and patient care is greatly improved. The scalable solution allows us to grow as our demands change.”

Bob Ottum of Alaska Diagnostic Imaging, an eRAD value-added reseller, adds, “eRAD provides a stable solution that requires minimum support and service. The features and functionality make it stand out especially in this type of distributed workflow.”

“Once again eRAD has proven that it can tackle tough workflows with a single solution. Our goal is to provide Radiologists with the tools they need to manage their complex business,” said Seth Koeppel, eRAD’s Vice President of Sales. He added, “Our partnership with AIA allows them to continue to grow and control their future.”
